Award-winning Americana artist Kevin Neidig delivers a captivating blend of virtuosity and insight on his latest album — a project that asks, “How much of the world do we truly perceive?” Inspired by the idea that our senses take in 11 million bits of data every second, while our conscious minds process only forty, Neidig explores how awareness, emotion, and bias shape the way we experience life.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered in his home studio, the album features eleven original songs, one instrumental, and two standout covers — including reimaginings of Dio and John Prine. Most of the instrumentation and vocals are performed by Kevin himself, with contributions from Aaron Blouin on upright bass and Stephanie Shatzer providing harmonies on a few tracks.
